Day 1: Welcome to SAIGON (HO CHI MINH CITY) (D)

Greeting at the airport and transfer to our hotel for check in and tour briefing. Depending on your arrival time, we enjoy a sightseeing tour around the center of the city. Some of the attractions include the Former Presidential Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post-office. These are 2 famous sites built in strong colonial style. We then continue to the busy Dong Khoi Street, where you can take a walk among nice boutiques of antiques, silk and souvenirs. This is the nicest street of Saigon, also the business and commercial center. Overnight in Saigon

Day 2: SAIGON – CU CHI TUNNELS (B, L, D)

Morning visit to Cu Chi (70 km from Saigon), a tunnel built during the US- Vietnam War. It is a nice surprise to see how the Vietnamese people have lived and won the war. We are back to Saigon in the afternoon to visit the War Remnant Museum. We continue to China Town (Cho Lon) to visit Binh Tay Market, the largest wholesale market in Saigon. We also visit Thien Hau Pagoda. Overnight in Saigon

Day 3: EXCURSION TO MEKONG DELTA (B, L, D)

We will make our way to My Tho in the Mekong Delta. Take a boat cruise along rivers and channels. In here we will see the day-to-day life of the Mekong Delta people. Due to the extensive network of channels, transportation and local activities are on the water. We also visit fruit and bonsai gardens, a candy workshop and local homes. We head back for Saigon in the evening. Overnight in Saigon

Day 4: SAIGON – NHA TRANG (B, L, D)

In the morning, a one hour flight will take you to Nha Trang. You will love this city on the beautiful beach and delicious food. Sandy beach, sunlight, emerald sea water will fill up the rest of the day. Overnight in Nha Trang

Day 5: NHA TRANG (B, L, D)

Full day offshore Nha Trang bay on boat. Cruising to explore some islands, swimming, snorkeling in crystal water of the sea, under tropical sunlight… Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 6: NHA TRANG – DA NANG – HOI AN (B, L, D)

Morning flight to Da Nang. Continue the trip with visiting and sightseeing to Cham sculpture museum, China beach, Marble Mountain. Then we will proceed to Hoi An, a small ancient town which used to be a famous trading port of Vietnam. This is also the World Cultural Heritage; we will explore Hoi An on foot, wandering around peaceful narrow streets with centuries-old architectures combining influences of many exotic trading communities. We stop by to pay a visit to some highlights sites in Hoi An such as the Museum, the old merchants’ house, assembly hall, Japanese covered Bridge and walk along the bank of the lively Thu Bon River, once was prosperous and famous commercial port in the region. Day 7: HOI AN – MY SON (B, L, D)

Today is a discovery trip to My Son, 40km from Hoi An. In here we will admire the great architectural and art works of Cham people. This was once the holy land of the Cham with many towers and remains. You will be briefed about the history and culture of the Cham, for which My Son was recognized as the World Cultural Heritage. Return to Hoi An. You now have free time for your own city discovery, shopping or beach relax. Overnight in Hoi An

Day 8: HOI AN - HUE (B, L, D)

Transferring overland northwards in a five hour trip to Hue, we make a few stop along the way for “bird eyed” view and photogenic scenery. In the afternoon is the sightseeing tour of Hue, the ancient capital of Vietnam. Some typical highlights included are the Royal Citadel, Purple Forbidden City, Royal theater and temples… Then we will enjoy a leisure boat trip upstream the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, the biggest Buddhist center in the region. Overnight in Hue

Day 9: HUE - HANOI (B, L, D)

This morning you enjoy a visit to the Mausoleum of King Tu Duc, a replicate of the King’s palace but built purposely for the next incarnation. We will take the flight to Hanoi and spend the rest of the day walking around the narrow but and lively streets of the Old Quarter. You also enjoy the charm of the city highlighted with Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and Opera House. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 10: HANOI CITY – Train to LAO CAI (SAPA) (B, L, D)

The whole today is for visiting Hanoi’s outstanding historical and cultural sites including: The political center of the country - Ba Dinh square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, house on stilt where President Ho Chi Minh live from 1958 to 1969 and Ho Chi Minh Museum. A visit to places which offer good understanding about three main religions having strong influences to the culture and spiritual life of Vietnamese: Quan Thanh Temple (Taoism), One Pillar Pagoda (Buddhism) and the Temple of Literature (Confucianism). The Museum of Ethnology will offer for more information about the 54 ethnics living in now. Evening highlight will be a Water Puppet show- the unique Vietnamese traditional art derived from wet-rice civilization of South East Asia. At nigh time, we will take a train to Lao Cai. You will sleep in four soft beds cabin with A/C and be ready for the next excitement day.

Day 11: LAO CAI – SAPA (B, L, D)

Upon the early morning arrival at Lao Cai, we will transfer uphill to Sapa. You will feel right away the difference in the fresh air and cool weather here. The rest of the day is for exploring the charming town of Sapa. Some of the activities are visiting Sapa market and make friend with the tribal people H’mong, Red Zao and Zay. We will take a short walk out the town for magnificent view of the Fansipan Mountain Range. From here is also the view of deep valleys decorated by terrace rice paddies at sunset- a typical sight of Northern Mountains of Vietnam. Overnight in Sapa

Day 12: SAPA - Night train to HANOI (B, L, D)

A Jeep drive will take you to visit the villages of the H’mong, Zao and Zay people living along Muong Hoa Valley. Here we have chance explore a unique life style of them, see the daily activities for earning living as well as admiring breathtaking landscapes. There are possibilities for trekking the whole day through the mountain place (upon request). We then come back to Sapa town for refreshing up and dinner. In the evening, we transfer to Lao Cai for the night train back to Hanoi.

Day 13: HANOI – HALONG BAY CRUISE (B, L, D)

In the morning at arrival in Hanoi, we take a visit to the early flower market in Quang Ba before going through the Red River Delta to Halong. A few stops along the ways are for photogenic landscapes of the country side. Upon arrival in Halong, we will board a wooden junk and set sail to the sea. The cruise last for five hours around the site of the World Natural Heritage, amid rocks jutting out of the sea water such as Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Sail Island ect. One of the stops to visit famous places in the bay including Thien Cung Cave beautifully decorated by thousand of stalactites and stalagmites. Seafood lunch is served on board. Then we will head back to the main land in the evening. Overnight in Halong

Day 14: HALONG - HANOI (B, L, D)

In the morning we say good bye to Halong City to continue the trip back to Hanoi. On the way, we stop by a pottery workshop in Dong Trieu Town, where you will view how beautiful potteries are made by hand. The afternoon is a free time for you in Hanoi for your own exploration of the city. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 15: HANOI - Departure (B)

Our trip ends today. After breakfast will be the last minute shopping on your own time until transfer to airport for your flight home.
